BOUGHT WITH A PRICE

SCRIPTURE FOCUS 

“For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”

— 1 Corinthians 6:20 (KJV)

REFLECTION 

There are few truths as humbling and powerful as this phrase ; ' you were bought with a price. You were Not just rescued , Not just forgiven, You were purchased—deliberately, intentionally, and at the highest cost imaginable. 

The currency? Not silver or gold, but the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

This truth shifts everything while reminding us that we are no longer our own. Our lives are not a gamble ; we  are redeemed.

 Our bodies are not instruments for pleasure or selfish pursuits—they are temples of the Holy Spirit. Our value isn’t determined by the world, our past, or our performance—it is determined at the cross.

We live in a world who will tell you to “live your truth,” and  “own your life,” but the gospel says, to you who are saved, you don’t belong to yourself anymore—you belong to God. And in that belonging, there is the greatest freedom, your  True identity unveiled , Eternal security accessed. 

So Saint You are not cheap , You are not overlooked,  You are  not rejected ,You are not an outcast . 

The Goodnews is that:

●Your were chosen. ●You were bought. ●And you are the  beloved son and heir of God's kingdom.  

SCRIPTURE REFERENCE 

●1 Peter 1:18–19 — “Redeemed with the precious blood of Christ…”

●Romans 8:32 — “He who did not spare His own Son… how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”

●Galatians 2:20 — “I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

PRAYER 

Father, thank You for purchasing me with the blood of Your Son. I stand in awe of the price You paid to make me Yours. Help me to live worthy of that sacrifice—not by striving, but by surrender. Teach me to glorify You in my body, in my choices, in my thoughts, and in my worship. Let me never forget—I am not my own. I am Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

DECLARATION 

▪︎I am not my own.

▪︎I have been bought with a price—

 the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

▪︎I am redeemed,

▪︎I am set apart,

▪︎I am God’s possession.

▪︎My worth is not defined by the world, But by the cross.

▪︎I carry the mark of mercy,

▪︎The seal of grace,

▪︎And the power of the Holy Spirit within me.

▪︎I glorify God in my body and in my spirit,For they belong to Him.

▪︎I walk in purpose,

▪︎I live in honor,

▪︎I shine with holiness.

▪︎The blood speaks over me—

▪︎I am forgiven.

▪︎I am chosen.

▪︎I am free.

▪︎I am not for sale.

▪︎I am already claimed.

▪︎And I will glorify God with every breath I take.

DAILY CHALLENGE 

Pause today and remind yourself:

●“I am not my own. I was bought with a price.”

Let this truth guide your decisions. Surrender one area of your life to God today where you’ve been acting like the owner. Offer it back to the One who paid the price.
