GRACE AND TRUTH●●●● A better Covenant.
SCRIPTURE FOCUS
“For while the Law was given through Moses, grace (unearned, undeserved favor and spiritual blessing) and truth came through Jesus Christ.”
— John 1:17 (AMPC)
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
The Law came with thunder, fire, and fear. It was holy and righteous—but also heavy. It demanded perfection but gave no power to fulfill it. Through Moses, we received a divine standard, but through Jesus, we received divine help.
Jesus did not abolish the Law—He fulfilled it. But more than that, He replaced external commandments with internal transformation. Where the Law pointed out sin, grace empowers us to overcome it. Where the Law demanded righteousness, grace imparts righteousness. And where the Law condemned the guilty, truth in Christ sets them free.
Grace is not a license to sin—it’s the divine influence upon the heart, reflected in the life. It lifts us when we fall, and teaches us to walk in God’s ways. Truth, on the other hand, is not just information; it’s the revelation of who God is and who we are in Him. Jesus Christ embodies both—grace and truth personified.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Jesus. Thank You that in Him is not only truth that transforms, but grace that sustains. Help me to live not by my own efforts, but by the unmerited favor You have lavished on me.
Teach me to walk in truth with humility, and to rest in the fullness of Your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
DAILY CHALLENGE
Take few minutes today and reflect on one area where you've been striving in your own strength and might . Then surrender it in prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to empower you with grace in that specific area.
Let truth even Jesus renew your mind and bring peace to your heart.
