THE CROSS

SCRIPTURE FOCUS

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
— 1 Corinthians 1:18 (KJV)

The cross is not merely a symbol of suffering; it is the eternal signature of God’s power. To the world, it looks like weakness. To the carnal, it sounds like madness. But to those being saved, it is life, light, and limitless power of God.

The gospel was never designed to be persuasive by eloquence—it was ordained to be transformative by power.

As Paul declares in Romans 1:16,
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth..."

This same power is not theoretical—it is experiential. It is the power that lifts the dead soul, heals the broken body, and brings the estranged heart back into communion with God. The gospel is not just about words—it’s about demonstration:
"For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power."
— 1 Corinthians 4:20 (KJV)

We are saved by grace through faith—not of works, lest any should boast (Ephesians 2:8–9). But this grace is not a passive force. It is active. It is empowering. It is the engine room of salvation.

The cross was not just an event—it is a divine power plant.
Every drop of blood spoke. Every wound radiated power. Every moment of surrender echoed the authority of heaven.
To those who mock it—it’s foolishness.
To those who receive it—it’s freedom.
To those who live by it—it’s power.

We are not merely believers in theory, we are evidence of what the power of God can do. The cross is not behind us—it is within us. And the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now dwells in us. Hallelujah.

PRAYER

Risen SAVIOR,
Thank You for the power of the Cross—and thank You even more for the power of the Resurrection. You didn’t just die for me; You rose for me. You conquered sin, but You also conquered death. Because You live, I live. Because You rose, I rise.

Today, I step into the fullness of what You’ve done. I reject fear, guilt, shame, and death. I receive the life, power, and victory that comes from the empty grave. Let resurrection power flow in every part of my being—my mind, my body, my spirit.

Let me live as one not just forgiven—but awakened. Not just saved—but sent.
In Jesus’ mighty and resurrected name, Amen.

DAILY CHALLENGE

Live Resurrected.
Today, don’t just remember the Cross—walk in the Resurrection. Speak life where there’s death. Bring hope where there’s despair. Let joy erupt in sorrow. Forgive boldly. Love fiercely. Pray fearlessly.

DECLARATION :
●I am not saved by merit but by mercy.
●Not by performance but by power.
●The cross is the power of God in my life, and I live by the unshakable gospel of God's grace.
●Let the world call it foolishness. I call it fire. I call it freedom. I call it power.
